if the output resoulted from the standard analysis contains "case with greater than 0.5 membership in term pl*ibs*csd*fi: case-a (0.83,1)", what does 0.83 and 1 mean?
it means that case a has a membership of 0.83 in the path pl*ibs*csd*f, and a membership of 1 in the outcome set. These indications are useful to identify contradictions, i.e. cases with membership > 0.5 in the solution term, but < 0.5 in the outcome.
There is no easy answer to this. At the very least, you should make this contradiction transparent and discuss that and why it occurs. This might then lead you to redefine / refine your sample, model, operationalization, calibration, theory and / or conclusions.
Dear Eva, once I have only 7 observations and among them there is 2 with more than 0,5 membership in term: Case 1 (0.76,0.88) , Case 2 (0.54,0.52) , having solution consistency of 0,989, what does it mean? Can I say that this solution is consistent ? Thank you in advance
