I am currently writing my dissertation and I am struggling to analyse my survey in SPSS. I hope you can help me.
I have created one survey, with 3 different stimuli material. Respondents were asked the same question for each (manipulated) stimuli (Different Humor Processes).
I want to test if three different humor process can cause an effect to the behavioral mechanism e.e purchase intentions.
I have exported the data onto SPSS and I have tried to do a multi regression test, but my independent variable (stimuli material) is not an option to select but the dependent variable is available to measure.
How can I add the independent variable?
Or is their an different way I can measure?

Without knowing the full details of your work, I would suggest you try obtaining the following book:

It has very good explanations of the actual statistics and teaches how to use SPSS too. Hopefully there can be something there that covers your specific questions.
