I have found an article where cobalt ferrite (CF) was coated with gold. There,firstly cobalt ferrite was synthesized and then coated with Gold. So, could I replace cobalt ferrite by zinc ferrite (ZF) using same methodology? However, I have also prepared zinc ferrite NPs individually. So, could I follow the methodology used in CF-Au to coat ZF using gold. Since, gold and cobalt close to each other.
Then how do I conjugate/add/coat copper with ZF-Au nanocomplex/ on the surface of ZF-Au nanocomplex? Please give me any methodology.

The same method used for cobalt ferrite synthesis can also be used for making zinc ferrite. You can also coat it with gold NPs using a suitable reducing agent.

I am agree with Dr. Mehadi. The preparation methods of MFe2O4 materials (M is a cation with +2 charge) generally are similar to each other. Hence, you can prepare zinc ferrite and then coat it with any metal such as Ag, Au, and Cu using a reduction process. Fore reduction process, you can use extract of plants instead of chemicals. This process is green. Extract of green tea is simple.
