I am interested to simulate radio interference when different radio technologies to be used in the same scenario, i.e. using IEEE802.11 and IEEE802.15.4.
I have read on the OMNET++/MiXiM/Inet the following Note: "NICs connected by different ConnectionManagers (here: 802.11 and
802.15.4) cannot interfere with each other yet."
my question, is there is any possible available way to simulate the interference? also, the developers say "not yet", do we expect them to support interference in the future? if yes, any Idea how long time is expected to get it?

Generally speaking, radio technologies are developed and standardized to be compliant with EMC regulations which should guarantee (with some safety margins) their interference-free operation when properly used. Nonetheless, I suppose you are interested in simulating the effects of interference in your specifc scenario.
This is not, in general, a simple task and needs to be addressed starting from the physical layer with a careful assessment of in-band and out-of-band performance of intentional and unintentional antennas, coupling paths, transmitters and receivers. A first order estimate could be obtained considering the specifications of the different radio standards, To get a higher degree of accuracy, the problem could be addressed in different domains (electromagnetic, electronics, coding,...) and/or on an experimental basis. In all cases the problem of interference can be often too complex to be tackled by a radio-link simulation model. So I do not think interference can be accurately analyzed by system-level simulation, at least in the near future.

I would simulate a wireless node with multiple radio interfaces, say WiFi, B.T. and LR 802.15.4.
I have installed OMNET++ with MiXim and Inet tool.

here you can find a system-level implementation of a Bluetooth tranceiver.
As you can see this implementation goes through the physical level, even to the transmission channel. I admit that add also a IEEE.802.15.4 tranceiver is not immediate neither easy but it will let to simulate interference.
