Dear Gupta so far the successful technology is "the desalting the water" for which different materials and methods are available in literature, being in use in USA, Maxico, Middle East countries and even in Australia and Japan. But for irrigation of golf course large volume of water is required. Under this scenario the method may not cost-effective. Other possibility is to flush the golf course using heavy irrigation 4-6 times a year. Or change the grass spp. with more salt tolerance ones.
I have seen some previous references to Calcium and it's importance in leaching Sodium from soils, particularly in irrigated arid and semi arid lands.
The below article authored by Robert Norton, Grain Research and Development Corporation, Australia warrants a read.
For water and soil we should be focussing a little more on available Calcium.
