make the preparation in aqueous 5% sodium bicarbonate (in normal saline). I am giving a simple calculation for 20g mice. You can change it as per your mice weight and desired volume which you want to give (depends on route of administration )-

20mg artesunate in 10ml 5% sodium bicarbonate

use 0.2ml/mice

that will be 20mg/kg

detailed calculation-

20mg/10ml=2mg/ml=0.4mg/0.2ml

if animal having 1kg weight you need 20mg

for 20g weight=20/(1000/20)=20/50=0.2mg

you can adjust the preparation volume, administration volume and dose accordingly
