15 September 2015 19 3K Report

I have a dataset contains hourly PM 10 concentration of 3 months of 107 sites. I have plotted all the hourly variogram (total 2208 variogram) and extracted a table of sill, range and nugget of every variogram. Then I plotted boxplot to understand the influence of PM 10 concentration and time on sill, range and nugget.

I am attaching those 3 box plot.

1. box plot of sill

2.box plot of range

3. box plot of nugget

Here, in box plot , for example, "midnight (0-30)" means sill value for average PM10 concentration of 0-30 at midnight (1.00 am to 5.00 am) and so on.

As I am very new to spatial statistics so I can't understand the significance of range, sill and nugget values. what can we comment on this 3 plot overall? Even I am not sure , what  should we generally expect? high value of range/sill/nugget or low value of range/sill/nugget? Could you please explain in details? Thanks in advance.
