Hi everyone,

I am interested in conjugating Heparin by typical EDC NHS amide bond conjugation. I could find the peaks of both my sample and Heparin in 1H NMR spectra but couldn't find amide peak (around 8 ppm). Other members tried the same method and they were successful to find the peak around 8 ppm. Is it like the conjugation has happened but at different positions on heparin or physically  adsorbed? Is there any other characterization technique other than FTIR and NMR to detect amide bond formation or conjugation?

Thanks in advance
