Does anyone know how to estimate the followings of fish swim bladder viewed from x-ray:1. Size 2. volume . Also, does anyone know any reference on the :morphometry of the fish swim bladder
Are you planning on performing the measurements on a preserved fish? What size of fish are we talking about?
CT will give you the morphology and can be performed using lab instrumentation in a reasonable time period.
if you also want elemental distributions you should look into 3D XRF methodologies but sample size will be a limiting factor.

The size of the fish is quite big ranging between 20-70 cm. I have x-rays and would like to estimate the size and volume.

So you what you already have is one single projection of the fish? (Since you say X-rays, which is actually the type of radiation and not the kind of imaging technique you used) If so it will be hard to estimate the size and volume since you have a projection of 3D onto 2D.
