We usually ensure reachability of the converter states by taking PWD lyapunov functions which contains only the duty cycle or term containing the time allocation of the states of the converter and doesnot contain the switching period Ts which may be variable. Also it doesnot pave the way to prove the closed loop stability of a system given a certain cost function.
