Alternatively, you can create a set containing desired partition(s) in Assembly module. In Visualization module the nodes of this set can be visualized in red using Results tree: Output Databases/*.odb/Instances/Node Sets/.

Victor J. Аdlucky Would the simulations need to be re-run after creating this set in order for the set to be visible, or is it possible to this with the .odb files that have already been created?

I think existing odb file doesn't know about this set, so you should re-run the simulation :(

I am modeling a microstructure in Abaqus composed of many grains in the same instance. The instance is separated into element sets, to which I assign a different material sections. I want to be able to show the edges between the sections/sets in the odb visualization to see the grain boundaries. I can see them it in the modeling but not in the output (see image). Do you have any idea how to? I have been struggling with this.

"When adding all of them, the feature edges will separate each element set." Could you please give more details about this?

Jianfeng Zhao Yes, create a display group for each element set. Then, add all of them to the display. Finally, in options->common, activate show feature edges. That should do it.
