How do I deacetylate low molecular weight chitosan?

Low molecular weight chitosan from sigma which is already 75-85% deacetylated. I want to further deacetylate till 90%. Kindly let me know the procedure.

you can used NaOH solution (10 to 12M) in order to deacetylate your chitosan. There are lot of publications to help you:
