To calculate concentration you need to divide by the thickness of the layer in meters.

Why it should be different for tropospheric ozone? The conversion does not depend on the altitude,
So that means you are saying I should consider 10 km as a standard thickness for all my calculations,

What kind of data do you have? Is it column ozone amount in the troposphere? You can convert it to concentration using 10 km, but it will be very approximate tropospheric mean value.
If you explain why you need concentration I can understand better the question. For example, if you are interested in air quality you cannot use tropospheric column, because it is not really related to the surface air.
E. Rozanov If the tropospheric column doesn't tell you about ground air quality, then how can we measure the air quality of a place using satellite imagery? Because all the satellite data that is available is either tropospheric column or total column.
YES, the 3 ways of calculating the concentration of gases is mostly used by satellites.

The troposphere vertical column says nearly accurate like surface pollution as its near to the surface compare to stratosphere.
