I want to implement a filter algorithm for feature selection using symmetric uncertainty on a set of data in Matlab or in excel.
if there no built-in function, which tool to use to implement this algorithm?

but I do not want symmetry of the t-distribution, I want Symmetric Uncertainty; this is a method used for feature selection in data mining.
