Resently patient dose measurement in urology methods is considered as a favorite field for Medical Physicists and other specialists, since in these procedures the patients experince the high radiation doses, thus consider this condition can reduces the patient and specialists dose.
The distribution of radiation exposure during PCNL is not uniform. Organ absorbed doses are reconstructed with dose measurements at different anatomic sites based on an organ dose conversion algorithm. Organ dose rate (mGy/s) could be determined by dividing organ dose by fluoroscopy time. When these organ dose rates multiplied by their tissue weighting factors, one can determine the effective dose rate (mSv/s).

How do i can calculate the" organ dose conversion algorithm?
Radiation dose reduction can be achieved by directing the fluoroscopy beam from under the table. The surgeon should wear a lead apron, thyroid shields, lead-impregnated glasses, and lead gloves.
