I am trying to learn the DC servo motor (a PM DC motor) for positional control for a homework. My fundamentals about Electrical motor and its drive is not good.
Could anyone can share with me some publications about the power electronics circuit and its control please?
The result of my research on the web either too basic and no circuit information or too complex like in Ti's documents.
Any help would be very appreciated.

Do you just need to know how it works or would you like to drive one of your own? If so, you could look around Arduino with a basic Google search like "Arduino DC servo".
However, here are simple electronic schematics that could be useful:
