I want to know the opinion of dear RG soil researchers about ideas of protecting soil biodiversity with implementation of factors making soils better and keeping soils alive.
Soil fauna can be very different by cultivation, irrigation, adding some animal manure,, grow some legumes .... all these operations are helping fauna to be better in number and diversity. Regards.
Hello Soil biodiversity needs to be improved by applying biopreparations to the soil. In this case, of course, the soil pH must be taken into account!
Animal manure added to the ploughed soil should be carefully composted ,then incorporated with soil using cultivators. Irrigation after that is needed to accelerate ascomycetes activity and other microorganisms.Regards.
Apply the Conservation Agriculture.
Apply organic Farming.
Apply zero tillage.
Leave plants residues on soil.
Sow annual grasses before sowing the target crop
Apply non fermented animal manure three months before cultivation. Non fermented animal manure contains macrofuana that increase aeration.
