If your PXRD data is in a text file format, you can import it into FullProf for processing and conversion to a CIF file. Here's how you can do it:
Open FullProf: Start FullProf on your computer and go to the "File" menu.
Import the text file: Select "Import" from the "File" menu and choose "ASCII". Locate the text file containing your PXRD data and select it.
Specify the data format: FullProf will prompt you to specify the format of the data in the text file. You will need to specify the number of columns in the file, the format of the X and Y values, and any other relevant parameters.
Process the data: Once the text file has been imported, FullProf will process the data and generate a powder diffraction pattern. You can use the tools in FullProf to refine the data, index peaks, and perform other operations.
Export the CIF file: Once you have processed the data, you can export the results to a CIF file by going to the "File" menu and selecting "Export". Choose "CIF" as the export format and specify the file name and location where you want to save the CIF file.
If you have got the PXRD, it doesn't meant that you can get CIF which often can be obtained in some crystalline open data in the internet. As some planes of crystals may be overlapped in the PXRD data, retieved data usually provide false cif data. Single crystal diffractive(then retrieved via Olex 2) shall be carried out to obtain the correct CIF data.
