As part of my coursework, we were required to choose a research subject for our end-of-semester project. I chose to investigate how artificial intelligence might be used to identify and predict the presence of tuberculosis in x-ray images. I am looking for research ideas and materials. I'd be really thankful if anyone could offer a suggestion on how to proceed.

Apply deep learning algorithms such as CNN to training the model. Then you can apply the trained model to classify images. Here is a link of tuberculosis chest xray data source which you can use to train and classify images. First, split the into train and test set. Then training the CNN model with train set. After that, apply the trained model to classify the test set. In this phase, you will get the accuracy of your model. If the accuracy is satisfactory, you can apply the model to classify your own data. Or you can build the CNN model from scratch with your own dataset.

Such a nice research subject from Franklin Osei. Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious infection that usually attacks your lungs. It can also spread to other parts of your body, like your brain and spine. I believe that to be able to predict tuberculosis using computer vision, you can apply the method of artificial neural network (ANN) that predicted the TB disease based on the TB suspect data given.
