It will be difficult to synchronize Google scholar and WoS due to their different coverage.

While GS covers everything that looks like research on the internet, WoS covers only outlets that meet specific conditions.

Alternatively, there can be a unifying platform with individual researcher's records from all the notable repositories. Something like a one-size-fits-all platform. So that when an author registers, his/her research metrics from all the repositories will be available.

Also, unique researcher ID such as ORCID can bridge the gap if both/all indexing houses/repositories were to adopt it.
