In order to analyze daily yield of Solar PV , the master file needs to be split into smaller files. As Excel has limitation of number of rows, it is tough to load or extract the same. Hope there is a good solution or work around is available.

Thank you Mr.Rebolledo. I have csv file which contains raw data (for a month) which needs to be sorted out to get a data for each day.
I would have thought a script written in something like R or python should be able to deal with this quite easily.
I'm not sure how far you are planning to go with your data but I would suggest to use some other programs which can manipulate tabular data better. From my own experience in Astronomy I would suggest using TOPCAT: http://www.star.bris.ac.uk/~mbt/topcat/
Yes it is made for astronomical data but it can handle all sorts of tabular data. The program is written in Java so in principle you should be able to run it on any operating system.
