I am doing my research work on Basidiomycota fungi. As for flora i mean plants we have a flora with which we can refer key for the identification. Same way is there any source by which i can study and identify the fungi that i have collected as well as photographed? If available please help me out.

It is quite difficult to find identification key for all Basidiomycetes at species level using traditional methods, for almost these methods are tedious and time consuming. PCR-based method is very effective for the identification of fungi from any phylum of fungi. As PCR and DNA sequence analysis have become standard tools for identification, detection and phylogenetic analysis of fungi. Good luck
