I have a white diffuser being illumined by a white LED (powered by 2.8 volt constant voltage) at the back of the diffuser. When I take images of the other side (front side) of the illumined diffuser surface with a camera of smartphone, I get different V channel values, everytime I click. All the images have been captured with autofocus locked (AF locked), autoexposure locked (AE locked) and autowhite balance (AWB locked) mode. Why these variations occur and how to reduce these variations to  minimum? V channel represents the maximum of (R,G or B).

I am attaching herewith the optics design and the corresponding images. Although the image looks similar but their corresponding magnitude of V channel is different.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.

How can we control in variation of V channel of HSV color space while capturing images of a back illuminated white surface?
