Suppose I use in our laboratory Ag/AgCl reference electrode, and that electrode has the fixed standard reduction potential with respect to the standard hydrogen electrode (SHE). Now, if we do not have SHE in our laboratory, then how it could be checked practically whether our reference electrode (Ag/AgCl) is working properly or not?

Briefly if you have another known working reference electrode of the same type you can test the two references against each other. If the OCP measured between the two is 0, or less than a few 10s of mV difference then your reference electrode is working properly. If you don't have another reference electrode to test against you can test the redox potential of a standard redox mediator, ferrocene based molecules are a typical choice, because they are well studied so their redox potential is easily found.
