The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics have once remarked that gifted students of mathematics are the most neglected segment of students

challenged to reach their full potential. A lot of discussions are going on how to make mathematics interesting to common students. But I don't know whether there are much fruitful discussions regarding the nourishment programmes for gifted students in mathematics (and in other subjects too). How can the teachers help gifted students to reach their full potential?
