From View tool bar. For modeling tree use, Control+T.

Try using command line option noSavedGuiPrefs, for example

abaqus cae noSavedGuiPrefs

abaqus viewer noSavedGuiPrefs

Hi, I don't know if the problem is the same, but mine is like this. The query window is out of screen border and I cannot move it since it has to be moved by click and hold the upper side of the window. I have tried command line advice by Victor J. Аdlucky , but it says invalid syntax.

Thanks Fachri Muhammad for your help! Your command helped but was not enough in my case !

Indeed I used the command abaqus cae noSavedGuiPrefs to launch Abaqus and now the Abaqus window uses only 3/4 of my screen and the dialog boxes appear in the remain 1/4. That is, if I display abaqus in full screen, I cannot see these dialog boxes because they are hidden in that place. I enclosed a screenshot

So for those that it might help : try not to display abaqus in full screen and check if your dialog boxes are not hidden there!

I solved it somehow. If you're using two screens.

1. save your work.

2. close Abaqus and stay on one screen.

3. Start abaqus again (still on one screen)

4. click on Query (part still hidden)

5. Now activate your second screen and move Abaqus there. It should work. No scripting required
