Hello. I'm doing my PhD's degree thesis and interested in analyzing the effects of the mutations in the biosynthesis pathways in silico.

with the modern software (http://molbiol-tools.ca/ , Ugene, Bioedit etc.) and databases (KEGG etc) , you could be able to predict and analyse the mutations and the changes in protein (structural and functional modification) and its possible effect, but you have to do some experiments to validate your results.
