I am working with a unit cell of metamaterial 3D which is shown in the attachment. Is there any way to calculate the graphics of absorption or transmittance of the wave passing through such structure in CST or HFSS?

Absorbed power = 1 - S11^2 - S 21^2
Transmittance = 1 / S21 ^2 ?
Transmission coefficient = S21
Reflection Coefficient = S11
Reflected power or energy = S11^2
Transmitted power = S21^2
By using S-paramters you can calculate:
Reflection: S11^2,
Transmission: S21^2,
Absorption: 1-S11^2-S21^2.
You need to export the result to an txt file (.txt) and then use Matlab to do this calculation and plot the results.

can u please tell how to choose bounding box dimensions in cst for simulating unit cell metamaterial??
In CST, the bounding box is generated automatically based on the electrical size and frequency (you don't need to design it like in HFSS).
However, to change the box size you can reduce 'Lines per wavelength" and "Lower mesh limit" in Mesh Properties in CST.

if I want to show the transmission coefficient vs angle(theta=-90:90) ,what do i do?

Hi
I assume you are using Floquet ports. Go to the slave properties . click on phse delay and set a parameter for the angle theta (theta_scan for example). Then go to optimetrics, add parametric, set the range of the theta_scan from -90 to 90 and run the simulation.
After simulation go to results, create modal solution data report , choose S21 and change primary sweep to theta_scan and plot.
