Hi Everyone,
I would like to prepare different concentrations of ethanol ranging from 1%-90% of final volume 1 ml. But there is chance for alcohol to evaporate on addition of water. When I prepare 1% ethanol I will be taking only 10 uL of Ethanol to which 990 uL water will be added. But on addition, alcohol may be evaporated and there may be no alcohol left. For my study, concentration of alcohol is very critical. So can you suggest how can I reduce the loss of alcohol and how to prepare accurate 1% alcohol of 1 ml final volume?
