I am used to preparing thin-films on glass substrates, but I have little experience with flexible PET substrates. For PEDOT:PSS, I throughly clean my glass substrates followed by a UV-Ozone surface treatment. I spin coat and anneal at 120ºC for 10 mins to get a nice film quality. However, now we are usually flexible PET substrates, I have found some difficulty in preparing good quality films. I don't clean or treat the PET substrate in anyway, and simply drop-cast the PEDOT:PSS onto the PET substrate. However, I found that my films peel off very easily, especially if I anneal. I tried to anneal a few times at 50º, but the sample peals off almost instantaneously.
So, does anyone have any references or tips on how to prepare PEDOT:PSS films on PET substrates?
Thanks in advance!
