I have looked to many techniques to examine CMV. All of them deal with LATENT constructs. However, our sample is not sufficient to use latent variables.
Could you please guide me to a reference/technique to solve this issue?
Usually CMV is assessed while performing Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). As, mentioned above, you have not sufficient data, and going to apply Path Analysis directly not CFA first, then why are you keen to apply CMV? There is no reason to apply this. If you feel that, there is bias in the data, if you have collected through single medium then you can apply outdated Harma's Single Factor Test.
I suggest looking to input your factor loadings into a calculator by Dueber et al (2017) to obtain CMV estimate. Another heuristocal method would be too simply take the proportion of your 1st eigenvalue over all other einen values )common factors) (see, Embretson & Reise, 2000).
You may read this paper where you can find four alternative approaches.

Further, CMV needs to be planned and proactive at the questionnaire design stage to include a marker varialbe that will be used in the test.
