I have simulated an inductor in CST Studio using the frequency domain solver, and under 1-D results, I can see the Z-Matrix, but it only shows the real part, whereas I need the imaginary part as well. How can I view both?
Yes, Right-click on the Z-Matrix in the results tree and look for an option like "Plot Properties." In that menu, you should be able to switch the display to show the imaginary part as well.
If you don’t see an option to show the imaginary part directly, you can export the data instead. Right-click on the Z-Matrix, select "Export 1D Data," and save it. Open the file in Excel, MATLAB, or another tool to find both the real and imaginary parts listed.
Alternatively, you can use CST's post-processing tools. Go to the "Post-Processing" menu, select "Templates," and look for options related to matrix analysis or custom plots. Some templates allow you to extract and visualize both parts of the Z-Matrix directly.
