I have gone through many research papers for non linear analysis of concrete beam but could not find out the appropriate mathematical solution.

There are several models to predict stress-strain behavior of concrete material in literature. At first, we must classify concrete response to confined and unconfined, which first one is conformed by transverse reinforcement and the other is cover. Confined concrete have more compressive strength and ultimate strain than cover concrete which nominal compressive strength (f'c) of both is same. one of the most famous models belong to Mander et. al, which their paper is entitled as:

There are so many models for the stress-strain behavior of unconfined concrete in compression. These models are suggested by Sargin and Handa (1969), Popovics (1973), Wang et al. (1978), Carriera and Chu (1985), CEB-FIP model code (1993), Hsu and Hsu (1994), Van Gysel and Taerwe (1996), Wee et al. (1996) and recently Lu and Zhao (2010). I perdonally liked the model suggested by Hsu and Hsu (1994) as you can adjust the initial branch of the stress-strain curve according to your experimental results.
I agree with the answer given by Reza. The Mander model coupled with a fiber approach in modelling beams and columns work pretty well in predicting reinforced concrete behaviour. Just one more information is the relation to be used with concrete and regarding steel. The best relation for ordinary reinforced concrete is the one from Menegotto-Pinto.
i am doing non linear analysis of hollow beam for pure torsion for both plain and reinforced concrete.when i use plastic stress strain data abaqus shows that plastic strain is 50 times higher than yield strain.wats is the solution?

I will run nonlinear analysis in ABAQUS? How can i obtain nonlinear datas which is convenient for me about yield criterion and stress-strain curve?
