I want to model different stages of collapse of frame structures or a single member. During incremental loading I want to update my model by considering the loss of bearing capacity.
I am waiting for any article or software suggestions.

A common way of modeling damage or reduction of load bearing capacity in finite element calculations is to reduce the stiffness of damaged elements (all the way to zero if necessary). Another option is to release the link between two nodes if a certain criterion is met.
One can for example define a damage parameter 0

from my point of view you can do your modelling by means of Abaqus. I am pretty sure that the software is capable to run your target.
