I produced powder of a polymer and curcumin and I want to study the release of curcumin (or luteolin) by Uv-vis. Curcumin is hydrophobic, so I have some problem to built a calibration curve in PBS to know the concentration of my drug in the medium. when I prepare the samples a different concentrations I obtain sospension. How can I do?

You can build a standard curve of curcumin by making the stock solution of Curcumin in Ethanol/methanol and further dilutions with PBS. For drug release studies, PBS with Tween 80/ethanol helps.

I don't think there is any protocol in Pharmacopoeia. You can find lot many reports supporting this info. This procedure is in usual practice. Try searching in google scholar or pubmed.
Alessia, puoi provare anche ad utilizzare il SDS a basse concentrazioni, è ugualmente ammesso dalla farmacopea come la miscela che ha menzionato Vishnu.

Il mio dubbio è che si crei una sospensione comunque e che l'UV non legga bene!
In linea di massima non dovrebbe succedere, il tensioattivo serve proprio ad evitare questo. Per quanto riguarda la fluorescenza non temere, il curcumino possiede grandi proprietà in merito. (ma immagino che questo lo saprai meglio di me ;-))
si si! ho provato con del Tween 80 e non ho avuto dei grandi miglioramenti però posso provare con il SDS magari.
