You can store in Desiccator, and if you have Glove box then keep that desiccator in glove box. It can be last for long time at least 2-3 months.
You can also do one thing, before making whole CH3NH3PbI3, its better to keep CH3NH3I in desiccator and while making devices you can mix with PbI2 in DMF, to prevent the moisture.
Its better to measure the absorbance of films consist of perovskite material. You can prepare through spin coating in normal glass slides.
what do you want to do with your perovskites in the end? I would avoid exposure to light and temperature as hard as I could, if you have a (well-controlled!!!) glove box even better. I would not evaporate the DMF if it is dissolved already, but I am actually not working on solution processes so I might be wrong here.
I would do the UV-VIS on thin films also, but that is because I work an thin films. Therefore I want to know the optical properties of my thin films. These can change slightly for powser materials and different deposition techniques, this is why it is important which use you want to give to your perovskites...
It depends on what you would like to do with that eventually. From my experience, the solution can be stored in a glove box for couple of months. I did not observe any degradation or change in stoichiometry.
Paul Pistor and Sanjib Das, i just want to characterize it by UV-Vis, XRD and TGA. but i do not want to do the thin film, but i have to characterize them in powder form.
so is there any suggestions? thank you very much for all of you.
