What kind of Actinobacteria are we talking here? Those that grow in the form of pseudomycelia (Streptomyces, Nocardia) usually produce spores when the medium is high in calcium and very low in phosphates (GYM streptomyces agar). I've seen it working on agar plates, don't know if it works in liquid media too.
