I am looking for an analytical method (or a combination of methods) for determination of lattice and adsorbed water in a crystalline material.
Lattice water is unstable and leaves the crystalline structure upon heating (already from room temperature).
The substance normally adsorbs surface water (up to 1% wt.).
The molecular weight of the compound is relatively high, the lattice water should also contribute to ca. 1% wt.
Is there any method that could deal with the problem?
