I am working on simulate nanofluid with eulerian-lagnargian (DPM) method in fluent but I have a few questions to speed up my project.
1) I simulated base fluid steady state and then I must inject particle in steady or unsteady injection type?
1) Do I set particle type to inert or other types?
2) when I set particle to inert in the material I can only set density and specific heat and thermal conductivity not appear. Do I must active thermophoresis forces for showing thermal conductivity in material ?
3) if I must active thermophoresis force in DPM panel, I should use which one of method in material for thermophoretic coefficient? ( my base fluid is water)
4) in the injection type which one is appropriate for this simulation? ( surface,group,cone ,...)
5) the number of particles in this study is too huge number ( about 10^18). my computational domain is a microchannel with dimensions 0.215*0.821*44.8 mm and particle diameter is 36nm and volume fraction of particles is 1% and 2%. I use the equation of volume fraction ( volume of particles/total volume of domain) to estimate the number of particles for tracking and injection from inlet, it is true or not? and it's not true please help me for suitable equation.
6) when I use surface injection type, the number of particle injection from inlet is equal to number of mesh on the inlet.
please help me for solve this issues.
