How can i simulate the 3D crack propagation of FGMs in Abaqus?

Is it possible to simulate without any parallel code such as fortran code?

or should I use UEL in Abaqus?

Hai friends,

Am doing a project on simulation of crack growth propagation in shell elements using ansys. I have designed the model and determined the stress intensity factor k1 using APDL codes.

It would be a great help if someone could help me in crack growth simulation
