I want to define semiconductor CNTs in silvaco, I found some tips for defining CNTs but I think they just works for metal CNTs. So can anyone please help me in this regard?
Just like any semiconductor gate, but take care of the source/drain sides and their doping level. Therefore, you may have either Omic (normal) or Schottky (rectifying) contacts. You may consider so many transport models, either semiclassic (hydrodynamic) or quantum models (e.g., Shrodinger+Poisson's equations or NEGF+Poisson's equation). In quantum midelling, you'll use Atlas or preferably the new simulator Vectory, also from Silvaco. Best wishes Shabnam
It is not possible to simulate CNT based devices in TCAD programs due to transport mechanism, and nature of some properties of CNT are various from that of semiconductors such as GaAs or Silicon.
