How can i remove sol-gel ceramic film that casted on a glassy carbon electrode?

Is there any solvent exist to dissolve the sol-gel and remove it from the surface of glassy carbon?

Most of the acids except HF and HNO3( they may affect the electrode) may be used. You can find etchant solution by knowing the chemistry of sol-gel.
