Sorry, I do fully understand which intrathecal is. Have you try to fix the catheter by dental cement? I have done some operation to fix catheter on skull by dental cement. Or you can tie the catheter by suture to the tissue around.

I've administered drugs intrathecally in rats with permanent polyethylene catheters for many years. The methods sections of any of my papers could help you with inserting the i.t. catheters. I used a modification of Tony Yaksh's method from the early 1980's. Good luck and let me know if you need help. ... TC
