One of the freely available and a very good piece of software is the hyperSpec package. http://hyperspec.r-forge.r-project.org/. It is a package for R, which is very suitable for big data files (available here: http://www.r-project.org/). Worked for me and I hope it is useful for you also. It is more convenient to use the Raman processing software: LabSpec to process the Raman mapping data. Before you get mapping, you may need to remove bad data points (Ghost peaks: random, sharp peaks), substrate the background, and then fit the peaks. Then the mappings of the peaks (position, width, intensity) are obtained. These mapping data can be exported to files with particular format that are compatible with origin software.

Did you try RamanToolSet? http://ramantoolset.sourceforge.net

it is a graphical, user-friendly interface for Raman analysis starting from .txt files. It is also well suited for 2D mapping analysis of Raman images.
