My aim is to derive the ground surface temperature using the land surface energy balance equation which describes heat inputs to the ground surface from different sources. After deriving the modeled land surface temperature using the surface energy balance equation, I would like to compare it with the land surface temperature derived from remote sensing techniques. I know how to estimate the surface temperature using remote sensing but the energy balance modeling approach is new for me. Does anyone have any idea how to go about it?
Q = H + E + G + S
where,
Q = Net Radiation ( Incoming sw & lw + Outgoing sw & lw)
H = Sensible Heat Flux
E = Latent Heat Flux
G = Soil Heat Flux
S = Heat Flux stored in plants due to photosynthesis
