Hello everyone;
I am trying to simulate a stent which is made of stainless steel in abaqus and in addition to the elastic properties that are defined by Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio I need to insert plastic properties that are defined by Von Misses-Hill model. The parameters describing this are Yield Stress, Limit Stress, and limit nominal strain but unfortunately I cannot find the suitable model nor I don't know how to create a new hrlpful model.
I will appreciate any help from you.

The Hill plasticity model is an extension of Von Mises for anistropic materials, which is already available in Abaqus.
Check the following model: Property module: material editor: Mechanical->Plasticity->Plastic: Suboptions->Potential

you have to use UMAT (for ABAQUS/Standard solver) or VUMAT (for ABAQUS/Explicit solver) subroutines, To define your considered constitutive law and Hill yield criteria.
