How can I measure proliferation of adherent cell lines using CFSE?

I am trying to measure cell proliferation in adherent cell lines using CFSE, but the peaks I observe are not well distinguishable and I usually observe only one peak. Could anyone who has performed such an assay give me some advice on how to perform this assay and/or how to analyse the data obtained in the flow cytometry histogram?
