Which methods can be used to measure the colour of thin films, where there are different layers of metal oxides on top?
And some top layers I used have high haze I determined by naked eye, how can I quantify it? What might be the reason behind it? Just inappropriate thickness or something else?

Typically, a higher doping level leads to a reduced bandgap and, thus, to higher values of the absorption coefficient at least if we talk about interband absorption and common semiconductors. However, optically active defects such as dopants may also influence the color of your sample in the wavelength range below the bandgap (extrinsic absorption,…). Finally, a change in the absorption coefficient leads also to change in the complex refractive index. Hence, both reflectance and transmittance of your whole layer stack changes (at least slightly). You have to specify your layer stack and the material of interest (optical bandgap, doping etc.) for a more detailed answer. Best regards and good luck,
