I need to optimize a simple beam natural frequency in Abaqus with Isight. I know in abaqus there is parametric tool but for more complex and further study I want to use Catia or Solidworks. After I imported CAD data from solidworks into Abaqus, I established model and model is correct, but in Isight side Solidworks and Abauqs components do not communicate each other. Is there any tutorial or vidoe or any resources how to conncet Solidworks with Abaqus in Isight?

It is a simple beam with encastrated with only one side, dimensions are 0.4 m width, 1.2 m length and 0.2 m depth. There is no external force, material is steel. That is all. The idea that I want to accomplish is changing the dimensions with the structural and in result changing the volume and mass. So it effects natural frequency. I created that part in SolidWorks, after that I imported with SolidWorks Abaqus interface to Abaqus. Then I built frequency model in Abaqus. Save them all and close, after that I open Isight and select SolidWorks and Abaqus components, and select the sldprt, cae and job files for SolidWorks and Abaqus components, also I click the sat file saving option in SolidWorks component. Then I select DOE and mapping them all, and run. After run only dimensions change, not the abaqus result, because I think solidworks cannot send data to abaqus. How can I solve this issue?
What is the objective function? What are the constraints? What are the lower and upper bounds of the design variables? Do you consider a tapered beam?
