It can not be dissolved in water in ordinary situation. when I make PH2 by adding dilute HCL, Epinephrine can dissolve but to continue my experiment I have to add buffer to reach PH7. in this PH the Epinephrine wont be precipitate?
Maybe a good solution will be to use epinephrine hydrochloride. Epinephrine hydrochloride is readily soluble in water. I do not know what concentration do you need ? The solubility of epinephrine hydrochloride in PBS. pH 7.2, is approximately 5 mg/ml but store the aqueous solution not more than one day.
Dissolving EPI-HCL or dispersing EPI and lowering the pH with HCl is essentially the same thing. If you need to raise the pH precipitation will occur. You either dilute your solution or add something that helps solubilizing EPI.
